5 Fall Must-Haves

We are so ready for fall! Who's with us? Fall is our favorite season not only for the cooler weather, but also for the fashion. We're always looking ahead to see how we can prepare our wardrobes for the next season. We typically do a quick analysis of our closets to see what we have and then compile a short list of what we need. Realistically, we can't have a completely new wardrobe each season (although, wouldn't that be nice?). So picking a few must-haves that will get you started for the fall season is what we recommend. That's not to say you can't pick up more options throughout the season because, let's be honest, we shop all year round.

The Flannel (J.Crew Factory)

Fall = flannels. Everyone needs a good flannel to start off the fall season. Wear it with all jeans (boyfriend, flares, skinnies), tuck it into a skirt, or keep it open layered over a vintage tee - so many options!

The Wrap Dress (Asos)

This wrap dress screams "fall" with its chic wrap style (which fits every body type!) and military green shade. Throw on a pair of strappy sandals for a night out or a pair of ankle boots for a chic and stylish work-appropriate look.

The High-Rise Flare Jean (7 For All Mankind)

Flares are the jean style to have this season. High rise is the way to go, ladies! It keeps the stomach area nice and tucked in which is always a good thing! Pair these with a chic boho top and wedges for a little height. The only thing you have to watch out for with flares is to make sure the hem graces the ground when you wear them with your heels/wedges. I always wear the shoes I know I'm going to wear with my flares when I'm out hunting for a pair so I don't have to guess if they are the right length. A little tailoring is a great way to get them to the perfect length.

The Mira Heel (Madewell)

Madewell's Mira heel is nothing new, but I love the style and I think it would get a lot of wear if it were in my closet. In fact, I've been waiting for it to get on sale since last season and my wish finally came true! Although, it's not necessarily the best deal ever. It just makes me feel better about a purchase when there's a price cut. I've seen a lot of bloggers wear the Mira heel and they look great on everyone. This would be my go-to heel to replace my over-worn Zara heeled sandals.

the neutral bucket bag (Urban Outfitters)

I like the idea of swapping out my oversized tote bag with a smaller bucket bag for fall. A neutral color is the way to go in order to get the most wear out of it. This one comes in a couple different neutral colors and at a decent price point!
