In case you guys missed our weekend through the eyes of Instagram, this past Sunday we were fortunate enough to attend Chick Events' big handmade and vintage market in Park Place. It was an amazing experience filled with music, food and best of all, shopping! If you guys haven't been, I highly recommend attending next year. They had about 95 vendors selling everything from food to clothes to home decor. We both walked away with a good amount so I thought I'd share with you a few of our favorite purchases. We bought more than listed below, but we were able to start our Christmas shopping early for some friends and family so those gifts must stay a secret if you know what I mean :) By the way, this is a great place to get holiday shopping done early. There's literally something for everyone! You can also check out their website or like their Facebook page to see any other events that might be popping up soon!
This was one of our last stops and I'm so glad we made it to this booth. Earthen Vessel Handmade has the cutest handmade items along with different types of plants in vintage planters. Check out her Etsy shop for handmade jewelry, too! I picked up this little green goddess below in a vintage brass container. It fits nicely on my mantel above the fire place.
Elizabeth was kind enough to buy this beauty below in a hand painted pot for a housewarming gift - thanks, Eliz! I also picked up this vintage brass plant stand which I've been searching for for a long time! I absolutely love it and it was at an amazing price - I just couldn't say no!
How adorable is this little KU sequin dress? I bought it for my niece's birthday that's coming up soon. She loves sparkly dresses so I thought this would be a great gift for her. A Perfect Treasure has the cutest kids clothes and accessories. This dress along with others have hand sewn sequins that really make it unique.
Dragonfly Gourmet Foods
We couldn't leave without purchasing a food item, right? These spicy dill pickles from Dragonfly Gourmet Foods really hit the spot! They have a spice to them, but it's not overpowering. They're SO good - as you can see by the photo, they're almost gone and I've only had them a few days. You'll also have to check out their salsa - Yum!
I can't even express how great this event was. Each vendor has something truly unique - the shopping options were endless. Next September can't come soon enough! See you next year, Chick Events!
