If you're headed to a 4th of July party this year, we have some great ideas for you! Sometimes it's hard to find cute clothes that are actually comfortable and bearable in this heat we've been experiencing. The Campbell dress from localE's new Everyday Collection is the perfect piece if you're stumped on what to wear for the 4th of July. These dresses come in red, navy and black, and they are SO comfortable! You can easily accessorize with a headscarf or a hat.
Elizabeth and I started our apparel brand, localE initially as "gameday" inspired pieces with our Kansas City sequin tees. For the past year we've been working on our Everyday Line that was designed for you to wear the pieces on gameday, but also any other day of the week. The pieces are sewn right here in Kansas City by women. We really wanted to keep this new line close to home in terms of the manufacturing process so we could have complete control and offer fair wages to the seamstress who sews them. Another cool fact is that the line is not made in a typical manufacturing environment. The seamstress who makes them actually works out of her home so it truly was a local effort in term of creating this line. We will be posting more about the entire process later so you can get a glimpse how much actually goes into creating a clothing line from start to finish.

The Liz tank is also a great 4th of July outfit idea. It's super lightweight and has the cutest peplum detail. Wear it with skinny jeans, a skirt or shorts for the perfect July 4th outfit!
If you're looking for something with stripes, the Grace top has a super lightweight and breathable feel. Tuck it into some shorts for an easy 4th of July look.
