The Maxi From Frankly Basic

Maxi dresses and skirts are staples for our spring and summer wardrobe. They are super easy to just throw on with a tank or cropped top. Frankly Basic is filled with stylish maxi dresses and skirts that, again, made it difficult to choose just two. Elizabeth found this bold skirt and naturally paired it with a lace trim cami. Her look is boho-inspired with a flowy fit. She layered with a statement necklace and threw on a pair of wedges for some height. Tucking in your top into a maxi skirt is optional in our opinion. I love how Elizabeth opted to try the somewhat unconventional way of leaving it untucked.

When I first spotted this classic black maxi dress from Frankly Basic, I knew it was the dress for me. It's so simple and easy to wear. I went with a minimal look of simple layered jewelry and sandals. However, the versatility of this piece is endless. I would also layer a chambray shirt or leather jacket over it. The slit isn't too high, but it still gives it some feminine style.
