Transitioning Into Spring

This weekend Kansas City had a 70-degree Saturday! 70's in February is fabulous so we took advantage and snapped a few photos of what we wore. Now is the time of year for this back and forth hot and cold temperature game so it's always good to have a game plan for when mother nature throws you off. We love overalls and they are still a really big trend. I feel like overalls for spring are very 'boyfriend' style or slouchy rather than the skinny style. I love this because it has a really cool, casual vibe to it that's perfect for the weekend. Overalls also have a great transitional role because you can wear them with a tank underneath, a t-shirt or even a long sleeve top for when it's cooler. She opted for some strappy flat sandals because, well, it was 70 degrees out.

I love my army green jackets! I have like ten of them and they are my go-to piece for when I'm not sure what to wear. Throw one on over a dress, with jeans and a tee, or shorts and a tank. They look so chic and they are classic so they'll always be in style. I threw mine over a black t-shirt with lace trim and paired with my ripped black skinny jeans (another go-to of mine). I finished off the look with these lace-up flats which are a spring/summer must-have! The lace-up flat trend is so big right now and they look great with dresses, shorts and skinny jeans!
